“ Best restaurant meal we had on a 3 week European holiday...drove by and missed it twice but so happy we found it, fantastic lunch menu, had the black pudding, not what you would expect in a pub. Highly recommend ”
“ I honestly feel there isn't enough space here to review this restaurant! Its the most unassuming establishment but wow once you walk through that door, you are met with Victor, and his energy is enough to raise the roof! Don't ever say this is just a pub because it is very unique. We visited yesterday as a tired husband and wife out for a well deserved evening while we had respite for our special needs child. When you have a child with complex needs, you dont just need a night out, you need warmth, comfort, relaxation and good food. Victor didn't know us as it was our first time, but somehow he reads the room and he gets that we all come with our own stories. Anyway enough of the softly softly, the food was delicious. Small plates, just enough to explore the expertise of the chef. Tapas style but much more than that. Superb quality. Superb service. I cant rate it highly enough. We loved the experience. Victor is a gem and I want a slice of his energy. We paid and left last night when Victor wasnt nearby but as we crossed the road, he opened the door and called across at us thanking us and saying goodbye. Thank you O Mahoneys and I have already told people about your beautiful soulful restaurant and I recommend any carer out there to just go and feel cherished. Susanne and Paul. ”

“ It’s very rare I’d find a place without fault and to be outstanding but O’Mahony’s of Watergrasshill is just that. We called in for brunch on a Sunday morning and were seated promptly in a cosy section suitable for a couple. The menu looked great and we had our coffee order taken first. I had the omelette with mushrooms and cheese with sourdough toast. My wife had the French toast. We also had extra portion of sausages and bacon. We then had the pan a cotta with rhubarb which was amazing and the 70% dark chocolate cake with salted caramel ice cream which was utterly delicious. We did not have any of the brunch cocktails but they were very tempting. The staff were efficient, friendly and dedicated. The toilets were spotlessly clean. Overall, an amazing experience I would repeat and recommend. ”

“ A restaurant worthy of a detour (we drove from Fermoy). The food is super tasty, best I have eaten during my two week vacation in Ireland. A large variety of food choices: we tried three different small mains (veg, fish and meat) and all were excellent. The presentation is very nice as well. Sadly after this we had no room left for dessert. ”
